Mel Brown has played with B.B. King, Bobby Blue Bland, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, and too many others to mention here. He is without a doubt one of the unsung contributor to the blues and is one of the most respected blues musician playing today. This show features some of his thoughts as well as two songs from his new CD, "Blues...a beautiful thing".

The show closes off with a young guitarist named "Boobie" Browne from St. John's, Newfoundland. Unlike Mel Brown, "Boobie" is just beginning his career in music but like Mel Brown, he is passionate about the music that he plays.
