Episode Twenty-five "Collage"
This show begins with Curtis Salgado talking about the first time he performed in front of an audience. The next two segments were shot on a very special January day in Chicago. The first of these two segments was shot at a photo shoot organized by the City of Chicago where they gathered over 70 Chicago blues musician for a very special photograph. The photographer chosen to document this very special event is James Freher. The second segment was shot that evening at a benefit for the Homeless called Hopefest. Hopefest features the blues to raise money for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. In the year 2004, this event helped to raise over $100,000.00 for this cause. The final segment features Mem Shannon performing a song called "S.U.V." |
