The Heritage Music BluesFest takes place in Wheeling, West Virginia on the second weekend of August each year. This is one of the best blues festivals I have attended in the States. Every year, Bruce Wheeler puts together a stellar line-up of musicians to play at this festival. In the first segment of this show, Bruce talks about the festival he has created.

Last summer, I had the opportunity to sit down with Neal Schon from Journey to talk about his love of the blues. Neal had just come off playing at Eric Clapton's Crossroad's Festival and he shared his thought about that experience as well as his history with the blues.

The final segment is a performance by Dawn Tyler Watson of one of my favourite tunes entitled, "Hey, Hey". This video was shot at the Port Credit Southside Shuffle in the fall of 2004. It may not be your typical blues song but it's a stunning tune nonetheless.
