One of the neatest experiences I've had in the past year was the chance to meet Dr. John on the Legendary Blues Cruise. This was an interview I never thought would happen but thanks to his road manager, I found myself sitting next to Dr. John on the verandah of his cabin one afternoon. (This explains the sound of the waves in the background.) Most people know Dr. John from his hit songs in the 1970's but the fact is that Dr. John was a session musician and a producer in his teens in the 1950's and he's still making great music in the year 2005. His latest album, "Nawlins, Dis, Dat or D'udda" was nominated for the Grammy's "Best Contemporary Blues Album" Award. Episode 37 features the legend... Dr. John.
