My love of music has lead me to document music and the musicians. Whether it be the blues, roots music or classical music, I am fascinated by the creative process behind the songs and the performances. For me, there's nothing like capturing a great interview with an artist who I respect and admire. I have spent the last 15+ years interviewing a lot of musicians for various video projects which have been view on network television, the internet and on DVD. Most of the interviews I have conducted for video have been edited down to a fraction of the entire interview and I've always felt that it would be great to present the interview in a different format to accommodate more of it. The talkin'blues audio podcast will allow me to share new interviews with this in mind as well as some of the old interviews from my previous video projects.
